POSH - Plain Old Semantic HTML
There’s a right way. And a wrong way. Plain Old Semantic HTML is the right way. If you want to know more you can read here, here, here and here.
Basically what i’m saying is I try to make my stuff properly, validate all of it and write my sites in a way which separates style from content.
Basically what I’m saying by saying that is that i believe that I should be writing my websites to a set list of universally approved standards which help me produce websites which allow more people on more devices on more platforms to access my site more easily (and so should you too!).
Still confused? What I’m generally trying to convey is that in my own little way I’m trying to heal the web. It’s bleeding badly from over-eating. Too many years of gorging on chocolate, pizzas, burgers and tv dinners output from wysiwyg editor factories and “pre-packaged” site by people who know no better, designed only to be shifted out the door quicker than you can say “what’s for tea, love?”.
Not building a website properly is like driving everywhere in reverse. It’s not good for your car, it’s not good for other drivers and it sure as shit hurts your neck after a while. I’m not sure that was the best way to put it.
Either way: do your browser a favour - feed it the good stuff!
